Covid-19 Precautions
I follow CDC and CDPHE guidelines. I can provide socially distanced in-person and virtual classes. I will utilize a mask at all times, and have face shields available for use, as well.
Yin yoga is a style that combines traditional yoga as well as Chinese principles of energy manifestations and systems. It is a style that anyone can participate in as props (the floor, blankets, pillows, etc.) are used to support the body to hold poses from 3-7 minutes depending on the pose and body part. It is done mostly seated or a flat surface like the floor. The yoga teacher verbally guides the students in and out of different poses gently. Yin yoga assists the body by softening the muscles and fascia which supports our joints and tendons. Yin energy is slow, quiet, and encourages looking inward during the practice.
